How can you be sure which cat it was in the first place? I didn't want a cat, I said if we got a cat I'd end up being the one feeding it and taking it to the vet - but my children were so crazy about having a real pet (they insisted goldfish didn't count as a real pet,) that i ended up going to the stray cat home and absconding with a kitten. They loved it but I ended up feeding it and taking it to the vet anyway. Sigh . . . still the vet is a nice guy, but he can afford to be - the money he charges.
