A new dress

I got a new dress recently.

It is a long, theatrical plum-colored dress with a velvet collar.

Basically, it screams "murder me!" 

While others certainly felt the impulse,

they were all too polite to pick up the knife,

so I took up my pen and murdered myself on paper.

and the dress is perfect for the occasion.
